Firefighters tackle fire at takeaway food shop

TWO fire crews were called out to tackle a fire at a takeaway food shop in Warrington yesterday evening.

Crews from Warrington and Birchwood attended to reports of smoke issuing from a takeaway food shop on Gorsey Lane, Warrington shortly after 5.30pm.
A thermal imaging camera was used to check the heat inside.
A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire.
The small fire involved a felt roof.
