THE outstanding display of Christmas illuminations all along Hill Top Road in Woolston is set to shine on beyond Twelfth Night to “Light the future.”
The display has provided some real light to brighten local lives in these dark times and, in light of appeals by hundreds in the community and further afield, it has been decided to keep the lights shining a bit longer beyond Twelfth Night with the “Light The Future” message.
It is mainly to support and brighten the lives of the local community, many of who include a walk along Hill Top Road as part of their daily exercise.
For those who don’t live locally but would like to see the display they can visit the “Hill Top Road Lights” Facebook page to avoid breaching Covid rules. CLICK HERE
Several people have enquired about making charitable donations and Francine Murray of Hill Top Road says that they’d like to suggest that people might like to consider making a donation to a charity of their choice to show their appreciation.
The display has become an amazing annual feature in the local community and, between brightening people’s lives and supporting local charities, will surely remain a focal point for many years to come.
