LYMM’S Award-winning safety and lifeskills centre “Safety Central” is reopening for family visits on Monday August 10.

Families looking for fun and informative things to do this summer are being invited to visit a state-of-the-art safety and lifeskills education centre at Lymm, Warrington.
The first phase of Safety Central’s gradual reopening following the coronavirus pandemic begins on Monday August 10.
From that date families can enjoy two-hour tours of the award-winning interactive centre, providing that they have pre-booked their visit.
Situated in Cliff Lane, Lymm, Safety Central uses world-class special effects and theme park-standard scenery to simulate everyday risks and hazards.

Centre Manager Mark Shone said: “We have made Safety Central Covid-19 secure so that you and your family, or household, can enjoy a special two-hour visit during the school summer holidays.
“Based on our popular primary schools programmes, the tours focus on preventing fires and accidents at home and how to stay safe online, on the roads, near railway lines and while enjoying the great outdoors.
“Our Summer SafetyQuest session is suitable for children aged eight and over and SafetyStars is for younger children aged five to seven.
“Tours will run from 9.15am to 1.45pm on selected days throughout August and early September, and at the end of your visit you will receive a special family safety pack to take home.”
A range of Covid-19 precautionary measures will be in place at the centre to keep visitors safe.
