THREE fire crews tackled a roof fire at a commercial building in Warrington last night.
Three fire engines attended, one from Stockton Heath, one from Birchwood and one from Lymm following reports of a fire at a building on Thelwall Lane shortly after 10.30pm.
On arrival the crews discovered a fire involving the roof void of the commercial building.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used dry sand to combat the flames.
Two other firefighters also wore breathing apparatus as back up.
The crews monitored the temperature of the area before handing it over to employees.
Firefighters were in attendance for around one hour and 40 minutes.
