PLANS for an external bin store adjoining the Co-op store at the neighbourhood centre at Fearnhead Cross, Warrington, have been given the green light by the borough’s planning chiefs.
Members of the borough council’s development management committee were told that binstore would be directly linked to the future use of another adjoining store, currently vacant.
As such, it would directly support the viability and vitality of the neighbourhood centre. It would be of modest size and would be “tucked away” behind the retail stores.
Although the scheme would involve the loss of some vegetation, it was of little merit. There would be no adverse impact on pedestrian or highway safety
