Four suffer smoke inhalation following Orford bedroom fire

FOUR people required emergency oxygen treatment following a bedroom fire at a property in Orford, Warrington, during the early hours this morning.

Two fire crews attended at the property on Festival Avenue at 5.11am.

On arrival the crews found the fire to be out and four casualties suffering smoke inhalation. The fire was in a back bedroom of a semi detached property and the casualties were given oxygen therapy by crews and paramedics also attended.

Firefighters damped down the area before leaving.
