Well, its that time of the year when you start to see some pretty fantastic moustaches around Warrington.
Before you wonder whether you’ve woken up in the 1970’s, relax; its Movember!
Movember is a movement for men’s health. In the month formerly known as November, Mo Bros and Mo Sistas come together to support the cause, get people talking and raise funds for men’s health projects.
From what started out as a fund raising idea between a few guys over a beer back in 2003, the Movember movement has since raised £402 million.
Its the only charity tackling mens health problems on a global scale. Some of the biggest health issues men face: prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mens health and suicide prevention, are spoken about and finally made aware of.
Fathers, husbands, brothers and sons all currently face or potentially face these problems in their lifetime and its not being talked about. Lets bring these issues to the surface now!
The Movember goal is to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25% by the year 2030, and by creating local fundraising groups like this we can achieve this a lot faster.
Here at Carpe Diem we have the privalige of being able to connect to large numbers of people through websites, social channels and our network of clients.
We want to create the first Warrington Movember!
We want to bring together the Mo Bros and Mo Sistas of Warrington. So come on, don a fantastic looking moustache, raise awareness and in the process raise some money for the cause today.
We invite you to take a picture of the 1970’s you and post it to instagram with the following hashtag #mowarrington
Will be showing all of the posted pictures on the Carpe Diem website www.carpe-diem.co.uk and at the end of November choose the best (or worst) looking tash.
The winner will receive a grooming session at Billy Goat Barbers in Stockton Heath!
All of the money we raise will be donated to Mens Health!
Come on people of Warrington – lets come together and get some money raised for our brothers!
