IT’S time to get excited and time to start making plans and time to be inspired with this year’s Christmas experience at Bents Garden & Home.

All was unveiled when Cllr Faisal Rashid, the Mayor of Warrington helped to officially open the 2016 display.

Bents team of joiners had once again worked its magic to create an exclusive timepiece which was used for the final countdown to reveal this year’s festive themes. Led by the Mayor of Warrington, hundreds of customers joined in with the countdown before setting out to discover the latest Christmas trends.

Said Cllr Faisal Rashid: “The big day may be some time off, but after today’s event it feels as though Christmas has definitely started. It was fantastic to see so many people enjoying the occasion and I was delighted to be a part of it.”

Christmas at Bents is a year round project, with work starting on the actual store set up in July to meet the Centre’s traditional mid-October opening date. Bents’ in-house team of designers, visual merchandisers and joiners have been working around the clock to ensure Christmas 2016 was ready in time.

Matthew Bent, Managing Director of Bents Garden & Home said: “A huge thank you to our Christmas team who have once again worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure we have another fantastic display for our customers. And thank you to the Mayor and Mayoress of Warrington for joining us for the occasion and keeping up the tradition of helping us with our traditional Christmas countdown.”

Father Christmas also made an early appearance at the event, joining in the fun at Bents where he met with the little ones and took note of their early Christmas wishes.
