Youths putting lives at risk on old railway bridge

YOUNGSTERS are putting their lives at risk throwing bricks off the old railway bridge at Latchford, Warrington.

Police are warning youngsters to stay away from the old railway bridge at Latchford, which crosses the Manchester Ship Canal at Latchford Locks.

Local PCSO Tony Spruce has been patrolling the area following reports of youngsters throwing bricks off the bridge.

  1. I see kids walking across this bridge all the time when walking my dog, it’s an accident waiting to happen. It needs seriously blocking off properly
