THE annual Thelwall Rose Queen Festval had an international flavour as 14-year-old Mary Connors was crowned Rose Queen.
Local community groups paraded on floats through the village, displaying a theme of foods from around the world, before the Lymm High School pupil was crowned on the village hall field.
