PARENTS and teachers at schools in the Culcheth area are to take part in an inter-school quiz.
The event is being sponsored by Warren Bibby from the Village Club and will take place on Friday, May 17 at 7.30pm. There will be a hotpot supper included in the £5 per head entry fee – and the winning team will be awarded a cup.
Schools taking part so far are Twiss Green, Newchurch, Culcheth Primary, Hollins Green, St Lewis, Glazebury and Culcheth High School.
The idea is that there should be about five teams per school, with each team consisting of six people.
Organiser Tracie Cotton said: “It will be a chance for all the schools to get together and have a bit of competitive fun. Anyone who wants to get a team together should contact their school’s PTA representative for contacts or contact me on 07972 240247.”
