CARE parcels for troops in Afghanistan have been packed by Warrington South Conservatives.
The packs, for the charity Support Our Soldiers, were filled with sweets, snacks, toiletries, pens, books and messages of thanks and well wishes.
Project co-ordinator Jonathan Levy said: “I’m delighted that Conservatives in Warrington have been able to take part in this fantastic project to thank our troops who do so much to keep us safe.
“Support Our Soldiers is an admirable organisation and it’s great to do our bit to let our troops know that we are thinking of them.”
