CHESHIRE’S Police and Crime Commissioner John Dwyer says he has been working hard to keep the promises that he set out in his election manifesto.
He has launched his first Police and Crime Plan to cover Warrington and Cheshire and is inviting people to give feedback on it. A range of agencies have already been consulted and it is backed by the Police and Crime Panel.
He said: “Since being elected, I’ve held various road shows and surgeries across the county to establish what the public of Cheshire want from their police service. By using this information, I’ve developed my first Police and Crime Plan.”
Local residents will receive a leaflet outlining his plans for the next three years.
Mr Dwyer said: “The people who live in Cheshire will be able to hold me to account based on the objectives that I’ve outlined in my Police and Crime Plan. In turn, I will hold the Chief Constable to account. I encourage the people of Cheshire to let me know if they think something isn’t right, and I’ll do what I can to try and find a solution.”
