
GERMAN guitar hero Michael Schenker will be taking to the stage at Warrington Parr Hall this Sunday (April 20) for what promises to be a night of hard rock heaven.
In a career spanning over 40 years Michael Schenker has played lead guitar with the Scorpions, UFO and led his on band MSG.
Regarded by many as one of the true guitar greats, artists such as Slash and James Hetfield from Metallica cite him as major influence.
Michael Schenker’s latest musical venture “Temple of Rock” sees him reunite with Scorpion band mate’s drummer Herman Rarebell and bassist Francis Buchholz.
They are joined by vocalist Doogie White and keyboard player Wayne Findlay.
In an exclusive interview with warrington worldwide Michael said: “I love playing live and I’m really looking forward to playing to the people of Warrington. The evening will be a celebration of the era of classic rock with songs from UFO’S Strangers in the Night and the Scorpions Love Drive albums as well as tracks from my own band.
