THE Post Office is to upgrade its Padgate Lane, Warrington, branch to a “main” branch.
Improvements will include a newly refurbished open plan branch, including a hearing loop, three serving positions and longer opening hours.
Warrington North MP Helen Jones welcomed the announcement.
She said: ” This is welcome news as it will provide a more convenient and effective service for customers. I am sure people will appreciate, in addition to the more modern open plan environment, the longer opening hours on weekdays and Saturdays.”
The change is part of a Post Office’s three-year investment and support programme.
Selected Post Office services will be available at the branch’s retail counter.
On service position will be screened and another open plan.
