FITNESS fans braved the cold and drizzle to take a tough Boot Camp challenge to help raise funds for Warrington Disability Partnership.
Ex-Army fitness guru Paul Warburton put the 26 participants through their paces on his circuit called “Dave.”
“We named the circuit to get people interested – people ask why it’s called Dave” he said.
“We use energising music to motivate people and spur them on.”
Participants, aged from 15 to 50 plus, completed a range of challenges which included throwing tyres, squats, sprints and body weight exercises using wooden poles.
Personal trainer Paul and his team spurred on the troops at Butts Green, Westbrook. They also gave people exercise and fitness tips and encouraged the flaggers to continue.
Paul said: “Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and we had a great laugh. Hopefully people will put the fitness tips into action.
“We were very pleased to raise £120 for Warrington Disability Partnership.”
