Man in court on murder bid charge

A MAN has been charged with the attempted murder of a nine-month-old baby boy at Warrington.
Craig Barry Connolly, aged 23, who gave an address in Eccles but was formerly of Birchwood, appeared at Halton Magistrates’ Court this morning.
He was charged with attempting to murder the baby..
The charges related to an incident in Birchwood Way, Birchwood on Wednesday morning when the man and the baby suffered minor injuries after being in collision with a red Peugeot car. The 46-year-old car driver was unhurt but the man and the baby were taken to hospital for treatment.
The man was remanded in custody to appear at Warrington Crown Court.

  1. The baby is fine , the taxi driver saw something was wrong and reduced his speed dramatically, and saved the life of baby Kaden, I would like to thank this man, as his actions saved the life of my grandchild.
