Police probe estate blaze

POLICE are investigating a fire on a Warrington housing estate in the early hours of today.
The blaze involved a garage in Grasmere Avenue, Orford – but fire crews were swiftly on the scene and prevented serious damage.
There was no damage to a car inside the lock-up garage.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hosereels to extinguish the blaze.
There was minor damage to the garage door and some tools and a battery stored inside.
It is believed the fire was started deliberately.
