Open days at independent living centre

TWO open days are planned at Warrington’s Centre for Independent Living – to enable people to pass on ideas to be incorporated in a £923,000 refurbishment scheme.
They will be on Friday, May 8 and Thursday May 21 when the Beaufort Street centre will be open between 1pm and 8pm.
Warrington Disability Partnership (WDP) and Warrington Borough Council secured a grant from the Big Lottery Community Assets fund to carry out the work, which will take about 12 months.
The refurbishment will enable the WDP to offer more community activities.
The WDP is hoping visitors to the two open days will come up with idea about different kinds of services they could develop.
Light refreshments will be provided throughout the two days.
