RESIDENTS of Warrington are being invited to drop in today (Wednesday) to have a say on the borough council’s waste strategy.
The drop in session is at Contact Warrington, in Horsemarket Street, between 2pm and 4pm and will be followed by another on Thursday, October 23 at the same time.
The consultation looks at various topics including current recycling rates, penalties for not reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill and alternatives to landfill.
Anyone who wants to take part in the consultation can view the waste strategy consultation, information and questionnaire online at www.warringtonwastewatchers.co.uk or at Contact Warrington.
Residents can email wastewatchers@warrington.gov.uk for the information or to make comments.
Following this consultation, Warrington will consider all the feedback and decide on the next steps to providing a solution.
