PEOPLE in Warrington, interested in learning about make-up for the theatre, can sign up for a workshop.
“All Made Up – Make up Skills for Theatre” is part of a programme of theatre workshops called “A Stage Further,” being promoted by Warrington Borough Council in partnership with other authorities.
The session will be held at Knutsford Civic Centre on Saturday October 25 from 10am to 4pm. Leader will be Elva Parkes, whose previous work includes make up at the Lowry and the Renold Theatre, Manchester.
Elva will demonstrate and involve course members as part of a “hands on” session. It will cover general make up, character (including pantomime) make up and special effect make up.
