Volunteer jugglers wanted!

A WARRINGTON Community is gearing up for its annual Victorian Day and looking for any volunteer entertainers to make the event even bigger and better.
Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council, Culcheth Lions Club and the Newton and District Jubilee Rotary Club are working together to make this year’s Victorian Day event better than ever.
With the support of CPS and local shopkeepers and businesses, organisers are now finalising details of the event.
This year there will extra Christmas lights in the trees, more stree fairground attractions too (including the fairground rides at the Harrow CP) organs, as well as the usual Brass Band, organs and choir.
There will be Christmas Fairs in the Parish Hall and Methodist Church and an Art Exhibition. Santa will be there to switch on the lights and weather permitting there will be fireworks too!
One of the organiser Jon Graves said: “What we’d like to have is for more people to dress up in Victorian fancy dress, decorate the shop windows and join in the fun. Are there any budding volunteer street entertainers who can juggle for example, or anyone who could be strolling musicians. We are open to suggestions.
“This is a Charity fund-raising event, so we are not looking for professional entertainers who want a fee.”
Anyone with ideas, please phone Tony Lewis on 01942 261151.
