Road closures for two weeks

HIGHWAY reconstruction work will result in temporary closures on a main road for about two weeks from Monday, September 15.
Temporary 20mph speed restrictions will also come into force when the work starts on the A50 Cliff Lane at Lymm.
There will be temporary closures of the road from its junction with the entrance to Poplars Truck Stop to the borough boundary with Macclesfield.
The temporary speed restriction will affect the stretch of the road from the B5158 Cherry Lane to the boundary with Macclesfield.
The restrictions will applied between 9.30am and 3.30pm as and when signs are in place on the site. Access will be under the control of the contractor.
West bound traffic will be diverted via West Lane, High Legh Road, Higher Lane, Church Road and Cherry Lane.
The alternative route for east bound traffic will be via Cliff Lane, Knutsford Road, Stockport Road, Camsley Lane, Booths Hill Road, Church Road, Higher Lane, High Legh Road and West Lane.
