Brothers set to miss rest of season

WARRINGTON Wolves have been dealt a double blow in the lead up to the Super League play-offs with the news that both Vinnie and Louis Anderson will miss the rest of the season.
Vinnie, (right) who has missed the last two Super League fixtures with a shoulder injury, has had surgery this week to repair the injured joint.
Meanwhile, brother, Louis (left) left the field with an arm injury during Warrington’s 22 – 12 win over Leeds at the weekend. Wolves’ worst fears have been realised as X-Ray’s showed the Kiwi international has suffered a fracture that will require a plate being fitted.
Vinnie Anderson said: “It’s a nasty coincidence. All we can do now is get our heads down and be fit and ready for the 2009 campaign”.
Vinnie and Louis Anderson join Chris Bridge, Paul Johnson, Steve Pickersgill and Stuart Reardon on the long term injured list.
On a brighter note forward Paul Wood is nearing a return to first team action after being out for most of the season with a shoulder injury.
