Offices plan gets go-ahead

PLANS to convert a house into offices have been given the green light by borough council planners.
The house, in London Road, Stockton Heath will now be transformed for office purposes.
Stockton Heath Parish Council originally objected to the proposal on the grounds the property was in the middle of a row of five terraced houses and that the application could set a precedent for similar developments.
However, after hearing the plans did not involve any internal or external alterations and the change of use would have no detrimental impact on traffic or the amenity of neighbours, the development control committee gave the go-ahead.
