A PLAN to build a new home in the back garden of another has been blocked by Warrington Borough Council’s development control committee.
Planning officers had originally recommended plans for the two-storey dwelling and garage in Grappenhall Road, Stockton Heath, for approval.
But the committee sided with Coun Sue Dodd from Stockton Heath in expressing concern over limited access to Victoria Road and the impact on neighbours.
Three neighbours also sent in letters of objection.
