A NEW sponsor has been found for a series of business breakfasts being held in Warrington over the next six months.
More than 100 people regularly attend the monthly events at Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus.
They include people from regional universities, development agencies, the investor community and a wide range of high-technology companies in sectors such as biomedical, advanced engineering, energy and environmental technologies.
Marks and Clerk, intellectual property advisors, which has offices in Liverpool and Manchester, will sponsor the event for six months – starting with the meeting on Friday.
Mark Blackburn, marketing manager at the campus, said: “Daresbury SIC is extremely pleased to have Marks and Clerk sponsor its business breakfasts. We will work hard to ensure that the sponsorship provides a valuable return for Marks and Clerk, and leads to a fruitful longer term relationship.”
Andrew Lyons, managing partner for Marks and Clerk’s northern offices, said: “Daresbury is a world-class facility, which is home to a wide range of innovative high-technology companies – a number of who are existing Marks and Clerk clients.
“Daresbury has long been at the cutting edge of scientific research in the North West and our sponsorship is illustrative of our support to the site and its tenant companies.”
