RAIL passengers are invited to have a say on further improvements to Warrington Central station, following the new introduction of lifts to the platforms last month.
More improvements are now being considered to make the station even more accessible, whether passengers arrive on foot, bicycle, car, taxi, coach or bus.
The borough council, Network Rail and train operator First TransPennine are working in partnership to identify and develop

improvements. Passengers are invited to take part in the informal consultation, leading on to a formal consultation when firmer proposals are established.
Any feedback about using the station and what improvements you would like to see should be emailed to ltp@warrington.gov.uk by July 31. For any queries, contact the transport planning team on 01925 442684.
Other recent improvements to Warrington Central station have included new waiting facilities and public toilets, including a baby change and disabled toilet. The station has also been repainted and CCTV and customer information screens have been installed.
