Pub bosses getting a telling off

LICENSED premises managers from Stockton Heath have been reprimanded by police.
Coun Graham Roughsege told Stockton Heath Parish Council the licensees had all been called to the police station for a “telling off.”
This followed complaints about the poor attendance by licensees at a Pub Watch meeting.
He said licensees were expected to attend the meetings, which look at matters affecting pubs, the community and alcohol issues, on a regular basis.
He said Stockton Heath was the only Pub Watch scheme not to have a website and that the last meeting had been “poorly attended.”
