ALL dog owners in Warrington are being the chance to make sure “man’s best friend” is in tip-top condition thanks to free health checks.
The Dog Warden Team will be out in force during June, in conjunction with People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals and the Dogs Trust, to provide the free health checks for all dogs.
On Monday, June 23, the team will be in Orford Park where an experienced PDSA nurse will be on hand to give advice.
The following day, Tuesday, June 24, the team move to Radley Common Community Centre on Grassmere Avenue in Orford.
Residents in Blackbrook, Dallam, Grassmere, Greenwood and Longford, can also find out about free neutering and micro chipping.
Executive Board Member for Community Services, Roy Smith (pictured) said: “These two events provide a great opportunity for dog owners to have their dog’s health checked and find out more about the free neutering scheme, I would encourage owners to attend.”
Anyone requiring more information can do so by contacting Linda Crellin on 01925 442 585 or Gillian Goulden on 01925 442 584.
