High achieving students honoured

HIGH-achieving students from the Warrington campus of the University of Chester were honoured at a Valedictory Service and Prize-Giving.
Scores of students from the town received awards at St Thomas of Canterbury Parish Church, next to the Chester campus.
Awards marked a range of achievement including academic, creative and sporting, contribution to voluntary work, environmental awareness, work-based learning and the welfare of fellow students.
After the ceremony there was a reception with strawberries and cream on offer.
