Neighbours oppose home extension

SIX neighbours have objected to plans to extend a detached house on a plush new housing estate.
They claim the proposed extension at a house in Scholars Green Lane, Lymm will be overbearing and will rob neighbouring properties of sunlight.
The issue will be considered by members of the borough’s development control committee, but planning officers are recommending the
scheme be allowed to go ahead.
They say the plan originally involved a single storey front extension and a two-storey rear extension. But it has now been amended to reduce the
rear extension to single-storey.
Planners do not believe this will have any detrimental impact on neighbouring properties.
