Firefighters tackle caravan fire at Stretton and fork lift truck fire at Latchford

TWO fire crews were called out on Sunday to tackle a caravan fire at Stretton and a fork lift truck on fire at Latchford.

At 18:10 crews from lymm and Warrington were called to reports of a caravan fire on Spark Hall Close.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.

They then used a thermal imaging camera to check for sources of heat and dampen down hot areas, remaining on scene for around one hour.

In another incident earlier in the day at 08:51, crews from Lymm and Warrington were called to reports of a fork lift truck fire on Thelwall Lane.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish a fork lift truck on fire. The vehicle was reported to be out on the yard, away from the building.
