Fire crew called to combine harvester fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called out yesterday to attend reports of a combine harvester on fire at Lymm.

At 15:15 one crew was called to Reddish Lane, Lymm, where firefighters used a hose reel to put out a small fire in a combine harvester.
The crew then damped down the grain and removed it from the hopper.
There were no reports of any injuries.
