Firefighters called out to forklift truck fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a fire involving a forklift truck at the Grange industrial estate in Warrington, earlier today.

Shortly before 5pm one fire engine attended from Birchwood was called to a forklift truck fire at business premises in Rivington court, Warrington.

The fire was out on arrival and crew but the crew used a hose reel to damp down the vehicle and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.

They also disconnected the battery using electrical gloves.

There were no reports of any injuries.
