FIREFIGHTERS from Birchwood were called out to tackle a car fire at Rixton, Warrington, earlier today.
Shortly after 1pm one fire crew was called to reports of a vehicle fire on Moat Lane, Rixton.
On arrival at the scene crews found a car that was well alight.
Two firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, the crew then used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots.
There were no reports of any injuries.
