Colleagues from a Warrington-based specialist business bank have been recognised for their ongoing commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in the credit industry.
Redwood Bank has been shortlisted across four categories at the Women and Diversity in Credit Awards, with one team member being named a finalist in two categories.
Rajesh Khosla, chief risk officer, is leading the way after being given the nod in the Mentor of the Year and Allyship Champion of the Year categories.
He is joined by director of treasury and ALM, Rhia Botha, who is shortlisted for Woman of the Year and IT support analyst Umar Mohammed, who is challenging for the Team Player of the Year trophy.
Tracey Lester, director of people, said: “We are so proud of our incredible finalists. Each of these individuals exemplifies leadership, dedication and impact – making Redwood stronger and more inclusive every day. Their work not only strengthens Redwood as a business but also contributes to a more inclusive and representative financial industry.”
The annual awards, hosted by Credit Strategy, celebrate those driving positive change and championing equality across the credit and financial sectors.
“It’s an honour to be recognised in this way. These nominations reflect our ongoing commitment to excellence and the values we champion as a business.
“We extend our congratulations to all the finalists and look forward to celebrating inclusive excellence at the awards ceremony.”
The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, November 19 at the Hilton London Bankside, bringing together industry leaders and changemakers from across the UK credit sector.
