WARRINGTON-based amateur theatre group Encore Productions are in the process of returning to the stage following COVID.

Over the coming months they are planning to perform a selection of cabaret shows at social clubs in Warrington, featuring a songs from past productions, as well as a dream list of songs from shows they would love to do should the rights ever become available.

On Friday and Saturday October 22-23 they will be performing “The Big Night Out” at Great Sankey and Penketh Conservative Club.
Encore secretary Michael Pirks said: “It is important to get our name back out into the community and to rebuild our membership with a project that will accomplish both these aims and get audiences back into the theatres.
“The other aim is to support local social clubs who have been affected by the lockdown, so to perform at the Great Sankey and Penketh Conservative Club, St Benedict’s Social Club and Alford Sports Hall is a great pleasure.”
In December, “Step into Christmas with Encore” will be staged at St Benedict’s Social Club, on Friday and Saturday the 10th and 11th.
This will be followed by another “Big Night Out” in April next year.
Tickets are now available at www.ticketsource.co.uj/encore-productions.
New members are being sought and auditions are being held on Sunday, October 24.
