WARRINGTON North MP Charlotte Nichols completed the London Marathon in six hours and eight minutes “of hell,” so far raising over £2,700 for the Warrington Wolves Foundation.

Charlotte, who had been hoping to complete the challenge last year, until it was put back by the pandemic, said she was “proud of myself for reaching the start line, given everything else going on at the moment.”
Commenting on her chosen charity she added: “The Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation do so much valuable work in our community in Warrington North, whether it’s promoting sport that is accessible for everyone, tackling holiday hunger, supporting arts and heritage, fostering good mental health- and much more!
“After last year’s London Marathon was postponed due to Coronavirus, I am running the 2021 event as the pandemic has made the projects supported by the Foundation more vital than ever.
“I’ve set an initial target of £2500 but hopefully we can smash this!”
She has smashed it with over £2,700 raised and funds still coming in.
