Person who sadly died on track at Padgate Station was a woman in her 30s

UPDATED: BRITISH Transport Police have confirmed that the person who sadly died on the tracks at Padgate Station, Warrington, yesterday, Monday, was a woman in her 30s.

The woman, was pronounced dead at the scene and police say there were no suspicious circumstances. Her next of kin have been informed



A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Padgate station at 1.40pm on Monday 10 May following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended, however sadly a woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”

  1. The Warrington Bipolar Support Group is hoping the be back at the Gateway in June. I am going in on Thursday to discuss covid-19;safety. zoom is proving useless for our needs, which is no good for our members health and wellbeing they need person to person and as a co-facilitator that is my aim.
