ST Rocco’s Hospice is happy to announce that 2021 will see the return of their popular annual Dragon Boat Race!
They are offering local businesses the chance to join in by forming a team and competing to be crowned the 2021 Kings and Queens of the Dragons!
The event will take place on Sunday 25th July from 9am at Warrington Rowing Club on the River Mersey.
It offers a fantastic team-building opportunity to fundraise for St. Rocco’s Hospice whilst competing against other local teams on the River Mersey. Dragon Boat Racing has established itself as one of the country’s favourite mass participation water sports; so if you haven’t tried it before save the date for our 2021 race!
The Dragon Boat Race is open to all businesses, organisations, and groups. You can have up to 16 rowers per boat plus a drummer and for 2021 boats cost just £400 each!
All teams are tasked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £1000 which will go towards patient care at St. Rocco’s Hospice.

I remember watching this as Mayor and it’s great. I wonder if the Skentelbery crew will do well – I bet they could go very well there are some talented family members and partners 👍 Even a mountaineer and yoga guru.
