PLANNING chiefs at Warrington have given the go-ahead for up to nine houses to be built on a former factory site at Lymm.

Developers Rushgreen Land Holdings Ltd have won permission to demolish the former Elastomer Engineering factory off Millers Lane and build up to nine houses on it.
Rubber mouldings manufacturer Elastomer was founded in 1966 but in July last year was acquired by Dexine Leyland Rubber Technology Ltd at Leyland.
Production has been transferred to the Leyland site and the Lymm factory has been standing empty for some time.
There were no objections to the scheme.
