Motorcyclist “stable” after serious road traffic collision at Winwick

UPDATED: A motorcyclist is said to be in “stable” condition following a serious road traffic collision at Winwick yesterday, Sunday.

At 10.50am on Sunday 27 September police were called to a collision on Golborne Road in Winwick, Warrington involving a black Toyota and a motorbike.
Officers along with paramedics and air ambulance attended to the scene.
The rider, a 50-year-old man, was taken to Aintree Hospital with injuries believed to be serious and life-threatening. He is currently in a stable condition.
The road was reopened at around 1.45pm.
