HELPING Hands, Orford Poplars & Hulme are delighted to announce that they have been successful in bidding for £1,000 funding from The Torus Foundation.

Carol Kilgannon, Chair of Helping Hands said: “we are delighted to have been awarded this sum of money from The Torus Foundation, it will mean that we can continue to support
residents within the area with food hampers that have required our assistance due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We have seen referrals increase again in the last few weeks and this generous donation will indeed help tremendously in ensuring that we have enough supplies to keep going over the coming months.

“We are pleased that the Torus Foundation sees us as a worthy recipient of funding. We work closely with a number of their neighbourhood managers and their Tenants, as well as other Community Organisations.”
