Firefighters tackle truck fire at Appleton

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a truck fire at Appleton, Warrington, earlier today.
One fire engine attended from Lymm as Firefighters dealt with a 17.5 tonne truck on fire in a yard off Lyncastle Road, Appleton.
The crew used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to put out the fire.
They then continued to use the hose reel jets to damp down the vehicle. No nearby buildings were affected.
