Six summonsed for ignoring new coronavirus legislation

SIX people have been summonsed overnight by Warrington Police for offences relating to the new coronavirus legislation to protect the public:

These included;

Out for a drive due to boredom

Returning from parties

Multiple people from the same household going to the shops for non-essential items.

Police have been clamping down in Warrington since the new legislation became law last Thursday and been warning the public not to ignore it carrying out roadside checks.

The legislation includes the following
*Essential contact only
*You can not visit other people’s houses
* You can not meet up with friends for children to have play dates or for you to exercise.
*You can not allow your children to go out and hang out with friends
* You can as a house unit go for a walk a slong as you don’t meet others
* You can go to the suppermarket for essentials, keepinghnds clean and distancing from others
* You can go to work if needed staying a safe distance away from colleagues

Anyone caught in breach of the rules could now face a fine of £60, doubling to £120 for a second offence.

What if your works are trying to send you out as a 2 man home delivery for nonessential products and your not from say household also going to work to stand around because if you cant go out as a 2 man delivery service you’ve no work but there making you stand in the warehouse or threatening to not pay you??
