UPDATED: A 70-year-old man from Warrington who was reported missing has been found safe and well.
Police launched a public appeal when the man was reported missing at around 8am today, Saturday December 14, after last being seen in the Grappenhall area.
But within hours of the appeal being launched the man was found safe and well and is now back with his family.
Police have thanked members of the public for their help and support.
