  1. Well done everyone – hope this inspires people to run the parkrun today – I will be taking a day off today from Mayor’s Corner at the Victoria Park parkrun so I can’t cheer on Gary who has made such good progress since running regularly every Saturday and is looking quite trim in the video footage. Good to see as well that Rob has done so well since he presented his case at a council committee meeting that I was on. I did grill him a bit at the time but I was just asking questions based on my experience of organising a number of road races in the late 80’s and mid 1990s so I knew something of what he was up against – but he has taken it to another level.
