The North Cheshire Clarion Juniors will be hosting an open day in Warrington for all young and junior cyclists wishing to learn how to be a good cyclist and/or enter the world of cycle racing.
This is the second year that the open day will be taking place at Dakota Park in Chapelford where the North Cheshire Clarion coaches will host the event for young cyclists.
Last year was fantastic with an amazing number of new riders showing their interest in the sport; some joined the club and are now racing with the rest of the Clarion Juniors.
It’s not all about racing, the team at NCCJ are keen to share their skills and knowledge and encourage more kids and juniors into cycling and share the wonderful benefits it brings, many who came along last year went away having learned many new skills.
Volunteers are all British Cycling accredited coaches and will also be supported by coaches from British Cycling on the day to deliver the open session.
The coaches at North Cheshire Clarion hope to build on last year’s success and invite children of all ages to take part. The coaches said ‘It’s a great way to showcase to the residents of Warrington what we do and how cycling can benefit its young people. It is also an opportunity for new riders to join the club and have the chance to show their skills in a fun and friendly environment.’
The session is open to children of all ages, it promises to be fun and engaging for all abilities. Existing members of the NCCJ will also be around to help and share their skills with those new to the world of cycling.
Cycling open session is from 10am on Saturday 20 July at Dakota Park, Warrington
