Heroes and heroines out in force at Croft Carnival

VIDEO & PICTURES: HEROES and heroines were out in force at the annual Croft Carnival.

Despite over cast skies the rain held off for the annual carnival parade which made its way through the village.

Following the grand parade which started from the Plough, in Kenyon Lane the carnival queens were crowned at Croft playing field.

Carnival Queen was Gracie Cripps, aged 11. Her attendants were Jessica Cullen and Casey Skinner.

Alice Hughes, aged eight, was the Carnival Princess. her attendants were Claudia Hynes and Madeleine Taylor.

Rosebud was seven-year-old Jessica Bowen. Her attendants were Lola-Kate Regan and Chloe Hill. Crown Bearer was Lewis Ashton, aged five.

This year’s theme for fancy dress and the annual scarecrow competition was heroes and heroines.

Joining in the fun was Croft Parish Council Chairman Cllr Keith Bland.
